We're sorry to see you go. Below you'll find information on how to delete your account and what happens to your data.
Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your profile, posts, pets, messages, and notifications will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
How to Delete Your Account
In the Mobile App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the Petivio app:
- Open the Settings tab.
- Tap on Delete account near the bottom.
- Confirm the deletion in the popup.
Your data will be purged immediately from our servers.
Via Email Request
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

- The email address associated with your Petivio account.
- A brief statement confirming you want to delete your account.
Note: Email requests may take up to 7 business days to process for identity verification.
Data Retention & Deletion
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Your personal profile (name, email, bio).
- Your pet profiles and care logs.
- All posts you've created in the community feeds.
- Your private messages and conversations.
- Your signatures on petitions.
Some information may be retained briefly in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which it is purged. We may also retain limited data if required by legal obligations.
